It's difficult to know where to start with something like this. My favourite bit is where he says "Correct me if I'm wrong, but...", and then the nasty Muslim guy is outwitted by the nice Mr Harrison simply asking him a straight question, thereby forcing him to admit the terrible secret that Muslims want to kill us all!
This is a textbook wind-up email, playing on any number of fears and exploiting ignorance by quoting so-called facts which are anything but. Think of how many millions (billions?) of Muslims there are in the world. If "most Imams and clerics" really were preaching jihad, then wouldn't there be thousands, even millions of radicalised Jihadist maniacs blowing stuff (and themselves) up left, right and centre? And where has "Mr Harrison" got the his population demographics from in order to confidently forecast the onset of sharia law within 20 years? (Or "by 2029", in case you couldn't work that one out otherwise.)
But although it's a blatant wind-up to the likes of me, the fact that it's presented as being from an educated, trustworthy man (how could anyone working in the prison service possibly not be?) who is desperate to expose the BLATANT LIES of the evil Muslims will convince an awful lot of people. Without wishing to sound overly patronising, people like to believe what they read, especially if it's given to them in the right way. Which makes scaremongering, shit-stirring, lying, despicable nonsense like this both horrifying and very, very sad.
